Description
PROJECT CLOSING STATEMENT:
The technical report provides new recommendations for the use of the FEHstatistical procedures for flood frequency estimation and provides details of the research that underpins these changes. Consequently it is an important reference document for users of the Flood Estimation Handbook.

SUMMARY OBJECTIVE:
To improve the description of the extent of urban and suburban land cover by updating the catchment descriptor URBTEXT(2000) used in the Flood Estimation handbook.

KEY CUSTOMER PURPOSE:
To improve understanding, description and quantification of the processes which contribute to the evolution of fluvial systems. To improve the industry standard procedures for flood estimation in the UK
