Description
Summary Objective:
Further develop the Registry of Aquatic Pathology (RAP) collection and database, held at CEFAS Weymouth, containing detailed information on the pathogenicity and identity of a wide variety of parasites and pathogens affecting fish and shellfish stocks, on a CD ROM.
Key Customer Purpose:
Through the maintenance of archived reference material enable Defra to rapidly identify new and emerging diseases, and help to establish the RAP as an internationally recognised resource and depository for pathological specimens and parasites.
