Summary Objectives:-
Through a better understanding of the behavioural competence and environmental tolerances of different development stages of halibut larvae, develop improved husbandry (rearing) protocols, including optimising the tank environment to promote prey-capture behaviour.

Key Customer Purpose:-
Encourage the development of a successful halibut farming industry in UK by improved husbandry protocols, particularly at the yolk sac incubation and first feeding stages where major mortalities occur.
