Description
Summary Objectives:-
Design and develop a marine recirculation nursery system for the culture of juvenile halibut and provide information on the inter-relationship between biological filtration/chemical filtration and biomass to help define the optimal working parameters and limitations of such a system.
Key Customer Purpose:-
Set up a demonstration project to show that technology designed by the ornamental industry can be transferred to, and further developed for the aquaculture sector, thus providing a cost effective, readily adaptable marine recirculation system for increased diversification of the UK fin fish industry. |
