Description
Summary Objectives:- Using plaice, a commercially important marine species of fish, assess the effect of chronic alpha and gamma radiation on fish reproduction. Compare number of offspring, changes in the ovary and testes under laboratory conditions and the possible interaction of radiation with organic chemicals.
Key Customer Purpose:- Provide information to assess whether historical disposals of radioactive wastes adversely affect the health of the environment. |
