Description
Summary Objectives:- Develop DNA - based methods to investigate biological responses of marine organisms exposed to hazardous chemicals and use these to study feminisation of male fish exposed to contaminants in the environment and in a breeding experiment in aquaria plus investigate the effects of oil-based materials on crabs.
Key Customer Purpose:- Enable new technological tools to be developed which will provide more sensitive and cost effective methods for environmental monitoring of the effects of marine pollutants |
