Integrating organic amendments as nutrient sources in arable crop rotations - LK0904

Description
To develop a sustainable strategy for the optimisation of farm manure and Water Industry treatment sludge applications within cereal crop rotations. To demonstrate important aspects of this strategy (including practical and economic considerations) and, thereby, to allow farmers to more consistently and confidently reduce fertiliser N and P inputs; hence, also, to reduce (1) 'pollution pressure', arising from the land application of Water Industry sludges and farm manures, and (2) the unit cost of cereal production.
