Beneficial use of dredgings - FD1009

Description
Summary Objectives:-
To determine the dispersion of dredged silt from a sacrificial mound deposited low in the intertidal zone to test the hypothesis that the sediment will be redeposited, by natural processes, higher up the mudflat.

Key Customer Purpose:-
Evaluate the effectiveness of the 'trickle charge' method for combating mudflat erosion and provide guidance to the operating authorities on the beneficial use of muddy dredged material.
