Analysis of Vegetarian Recipes from MAFF`s Dietary Survey of Vegetarians - FS2408

Description
This project will provide detailed recipe information of foods consumed by the vegetarian consumer during the dietary survey of vegetarian. The results will be used to obtain better consumption and intake estimates for the vegetarian sub-population in order to base risk assessments on.
Objective
(1) MAFF to provide details to the Vegetarian Society of only those food products which require recipe allocation, (2) The Vegetarian Society will analyse the first 200 recipes in a pilot study. Results of the pilot study together with a short report will be submitted to MAFF, (3) the Vegetarian Society will commence work on the remaining recipes and provide on-going results to MAFF in batches of 200-300 recipes, (4) on completion of the work the Vegetarian Society will provide a final project report of how the work was carried out and what type of problems were encountered.
