The components of subfertility in milked dairy cows - DS0203

Objective
a) To define the nature, severity and economic cost of types subfertility in milked cows using data on milk progesterone concentrations. b) To develop mechanistic models to enable dairy farmers to select their most fertile animals. c) To use data on milk progesterone concentrations to calculate the repeatability and heritability of various types of subfertility in dairy cows. d) To evaluate the success of remedial hormone treatments in selected cases of subfertility.
