Olfactory responses in salmonids - SF0209

Description
Summary Objectives:-
To describe the nature and extent of chemical recognition
between sibling juvenile salmon and the effects of changes
in water quality on olfactory-based behaviour and physiology
of salmonids.

Key Customer Purpose:-
Enable MAFF to consider the need to improve riverine
environments for salmon by establishing whether changes in
water quality due to human activity leads to a serious
disruption of olfactory-based behaviour.
