Growth and survival of sea trout in the sea - SF0204

Description
R&D Summary Objectives:- Describe the growth and survival of sea trout during the first year in the sea and analyse recent trends in catches, particularly in East Anglia and the north east. Key customer purpose:- Enable MAFF to develop its policy on sea trout management through a better understanding of the causes of present stock decline.
Objective
1.To advise as required on the possible decline of sea trout stocks in England and Wales and with respect to other parts of the British Isles. 2.To describe the growth and survival of sea trout during their first year in the sea 3.To describe recent trends in sea trout catches, in particular the relationships between the fisheries in East Anglia and the north east.
