Summary Objectives:-
Develop models which help predict the consequences of
various Management options on the complex multispecies and
multifleet fisheries systems.
Key customer purpose:-
Ensure that the UK has a direct involvement in the
development of appropriate fish stock management regimes
within the EC through participation in the multispecies
modelling programme on which scientific advice from ICES and
STECF is based. |
Objective
To define, and develop models of fisheries systems required
for advising on the CFP. To develop required methodologies
for the estimation of the parameters of fish stocks that are
essential for management advice.
The listed targets give currently expected obligations but
new targets will arise in the life of this project given the
requirement to address questions of management relevance.
