Countering the aversion of hardy ornamentals to chalk soils - OC9310
|
Objective
(i) To improve lime tolerance of Erica, Pieris and Rhododendron by investigating the use of existing tolerant clones as rootstocks and by developing techniques for selecting new tolerant clones, e.g. seedlings in glasshouse or somaclones in vitro.
