Review of evidence relating to environmental noise exposure and mental health, wellbeing, quality of life, cancer, dementia, other neurodegenerative outcomes and birth, reproductive and cognitive health outcomes
Objective
The aim of this project is to prepare written guidance for the IGCB(N) on the evidence base they will use to determine whether updates to its current recommendations on noise and costs/benefits are advisable.
This project, relating specifically to environmental noise exposure and mental health, wellbeing, quality of life, cancer, dementia, other neurodegenerative outcomes and birth, reproductive and cognitive health outcomes, covers only one aspect of the many areas which are considered by the IGCB(N) and will contribute to the group’s review of the current recommendations.
