`To study basis of propagation and nursery conditions on tree transplantation, establishment and early performance` - WD0104

Description
(New code WD0111)

To improve understanding of the critical physiological factors which determine the nursery and out-planting performance of broad-leaved seedlings and cuttings. This knowledge is to provide scientific underpinning for improvements in nursery and establishment techniques and for the selection of planting materials with genetically superior stress adaptation. It will also add to general knowledge of the stress physiology of broad-leaved trees. This is at present little understood, but of vital importance with the advance of forest decline.
