Simplifying Defra’s Economic Trade model - DefraTAP - DO0149

Description
Simplifying Defra’s Economic Trade model – Results from the Defra TAP model are currently used to support the evidence which is used to contribute to and influence EU trade negotiations. This project will allow for the model to be upgraded to reduce the time it takes for users to set up the model and prepare scenario's.
Objective
The updating of the current Defra TAP model will enhance its functionality and so allow for quicker turnover and increased access. It will reduce the time it takes users to set up the model with different scenarios and so allow more scenarios to be run in less time. It will also allow more users to use the model so freeing up time for more analysis to be carried out..
