Exercise Centaur delivery - CB0504

Description
To design and run a Table Top Exercise (TTX) in order to meet the following objectives:
- Test and ensure Defra’s readiness to recover from a CBRN incident
- Test and ensure the Government’s preparedness to manage recovery following a CBRN incident.
- Reassure Defra Ministers and senior officials of Defra’s readiness to respond to a CBRN incident.
- Re-assure Defra and OGD Ministers, senior officials etc. that Government can manage recovery from a CBRN incident.
- Build CBRN team and others confidence in their ability to manage the response and transition to recovery from a CBRN incident.
- Verify and test Defra’ emergency Response plan and OGD plans and processes.
- Verify and test operational recovery (coordination and communication) within and between Defra, OGDs and agencies.
- Test the interface between the local and national levels during recovery from a CBRN incident.
- Identify gaps and weaknesses in planning and preparedness during the response to and recovery from a CBRN incident.
