Description
To assess progress on the uptake and application of (natural) environmental valuation and appraisal and sustainable development appraisal guidance across Government impact assessments and business cases, and inform future priorities and initiatives to build capacity and future monitoring |
Objective
The first objective of this project is to develop meaningful evidence on the extent, quality and impact of uptake of guidance across Government impact assessments and business cases.
The second objective is to gain evidence on the barriers to further progress, how to build future capacity, and how to monitor progress, to ensure government appraisal is robust in accounting for environmental, social and economic impacts.
