Description
To explore business attitude and reaction towards climate change, and identify barriers to carrying out activities to manage the risks and maximise opportunities in micro-businesses and SMEs within a pilot area of the Northumberland Uplands. To explore business attitude and reaction towards climate change, and indentify barriers to carrying out activities to manage the risks and maximise opportunities. To identify actions and future work to build the adaptive capacity of micro-businesses and SMEs within the Northumberland Uplands to climate change and extreme weather. To feed back lessons learnt so they may be applied to other micro-businesses and SMEs. To feed lessons learnt to Defra for the development of its first National Adaptation Programme, to be laid in Parliament in 2013.
