Soils within the Catchment Sensitive Farming Programme: Project to deliver improvements in soil management - SP08014

Description
Objectives:
1. To pilot test a “non-deterministic approach” (NDA) to influence land management practices that enables land-managers and landowners to consider the implications for them of changing management of organic matter within their enterprise.
2. To demonstrate that the Active C can be used to predict the impact of changes in land use and management on SOC within catchments defined under the Natural England scheme.
3. To synthesise lessons learnt in a form useful to secondary stakeholders including Defra.
