Quantification of the effectiveness of beach control structures - FD0701

Summary Objective:
Using a mobile bed physical model, investigate the effectiveness of beach control structures as determined by beach recession, longshore transport and input drift.

Key Customer Purpose:
Reduce the risk to life from coastal flooding and erosion by improving the effectiveness and economy of coastal engineering work designs.
