Description
Summary Objectives:- Provide an economic analysis of recreational inland fisheries in England and Wales.
Key Customer Purpose:- Information on the socio-economic value of recreational freshwater fisheries is of key importance in the development of comprehensive and effective disease outbreak contingency plans for Defra. Such a mechanism allows for the inclusion of the wider potential impacts of exotic notifiable disease beyond the immediate effects on farmed and wild fish stocks.
