Project Co-ordination for OECD Programme on Biological Resource Management - IC0105

Description
The Agriculture Directorate of the OECD invites applications under its co-operative research programe on biological resource management for sustainable agricultural systems for its postdoctoral fellowship programme. Areas of interest are New agricultural products for sustainable farming and industry, Quality of animal products and safety of food, enhancing environmental quality in agricultural systems and connecting scientific progress to sustainable and integrated agro-food systems.

Under this programme applications are invited from nationals of the participating countries who are willing to undertake co-operative research in an other participating country. These fellowships cover travel expenses and subsistence allowance of up to €450 per week. The Fellowships are for periods ranging from 2 - 26 weeks.

Defra has contracted Dr James Lynch (Forestry Authority) to act as the UK National Contact Point for this scheme. Dr Lynch is a serving member on the Management Committee for the 'Biological Resource Management for Sustainable Agricultural Systems' programme.
