Small-scale intercalibration exercise using stickleback endocrine disrupter screening assay - CB01045

Description
The main objective is to conduct 2 small-scale intercalibration exercises (ring-tests) using a 21 day screening assay for endocrine disrupters with stickleback, following a protocol prepared by the OECD VMG-Eco for three core fish species, zebrafish, Japanese medaka and fat head minnow. The aim is to compare the sensitivity of this native European species and the reproducibility of both the vitellogenin and spiggin assays with the core secies, in order to demonstrate the suitability and possible superiority of the stickleback as a test species in the OECD ED fish screen that will eventually be published.
