To determine the survival / inactivation of fish pathogens following ensiling or composting.
Key Customer Purpose:
To provide data to underpin Defra`s interaction with the EC, in proposing methods for category 2 aquaculture waste disposal that add to those currently available under EC regulation Animal By-Products Regulation 1774/2002, and provide practical and economic disposal routes for industry
