OSPAR Distinguishing between the impacts of current and historic discharges - RS01004

Description
In this project, methods were identified for distinguishing between the contributions of current and historic discharges to observed activity concentrations in UK marine environmental media. Once identified, the methods were used to investigate the impact of illustrative future discharges in relation to the OSPAR Radioactive Substances Stragegy. One of the requirements of this Strategy is that additional concentrations of artificial nuclides in the marine environment above `historic levels` are `close to zero` by 2020.
