Best Practice Guidance on Contaminated Land - RS01002

Description
This project was run by CIRIA, and partially funded by Defra, with the aim of producing good practice guidance for the management of contaminated land on two types of site: nuclear-licensed sites and non-nuclear defence sites for which a change of use and/or ownership is planned.

These types of sites are distinguised by the potential for radioactive contamination. The guidance contains key principals, amplification of these principles and a structured approach to the management of contaminated land which will assist in putting the key principles into practice.
