Review of ICCA assessments - CB01018

Industry is committed to providing Screening Information Data Sets dossiers for chemicals in the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) programme and these are sponsored by member countries. Sponsorship is intended to ensure a rigorous review of the data so that assessments are agreed as quickly as possible at OECD meetings. This review will take the form of advice to industry and regulators on a range of technical issues such as test data validity and interpretation, adequacy of robust study summaries, application of the group approach, the application of QSARs, the need for new testing and the filling of data gaps, and review of corresponding hazard assessments.

Objective - manage the coordination and validation of phyisicochemical and toxicological (human health) test data and corresponding hazard assessments on priority chemicals prepared by industry in accordance with the OECD programme on high production volume chemicals.
