Endocrine disruption in aquatic and terrestrial invertebrates - CB01007
Description
CGMP Division is contributing to a project led by Marine and Waterways Division.
The project will aim to
- develop novel, robust markers of exposure and/or effects to a range of endocrine disrupters in the amphipod Gammerus pulex and the earthworm Eisenia andrei
- establish links between the markers of exposure and/or effect in these species with key physiological responses in individuals (including growth, reproductive output, offspring viability and morphological abnormalities) and resultant effects at the population and community levels using life cycle modelling
