Production of a DEFRA booklet - Bringing down ammonia emissions. Progress in research and development. - AM0107

Description
The objective is to write and publish a booklet that will summarize the progress made in recent years towards identifying and quantifying sources of ammonia emissions . The booklet will provide background information on ammonia, summarize the Department's ammonia R&D programme, including research on the development and evaluation of techniques to abate ammonia emissions. It is relevant to DEFRA's policy objective of reducing pollution from agricultural sources. |
Objective
1. To critically review research and development undertaken in the UK funded by MAFF, DETR and DEFRA, on ammonia emissions.
2. To draft a booklet aimed at policy makers, farmers and their advisers, researchers and other interested parties based on these reviews.
3. To receive and act upon comments on the draft from DEFRA and external reviewers appointed by DEFRA.
4. To supply final text, pictures and diagrams to an appropriate company for production of artwork, layout, printing and binding and as a pdf file suitable for the internet. |
