Description
Summary Objectives:-
Analyse the potential for using prebiotics in aquaculture to be achieved by understanding the natural bacterial flora of healthy fish, evaluating candidate compounds such as oligosaccharides that can beneficially alter the bacterial flora and develop strategies for successful delivery of materials.
Key Customer Purpose:-
Examine the potential for reducing disease in farmed fish through the use of prebiotics, thus decreasing the use of chemotherapeutants , benefitting the environment and the consumer. |
