Immunology of PKD in fish-identification of protective antigens and host immunity - FC1111

Description
Summary Objective:
Develop in vitro and in vivo culture methods for Tetracapsula bryosalmonae (the infective agent of Proliferative Kidney Disease) and, by identifying and characterising the antigens involved elucidate the immune response of the fish host to the parasite.

Key Customer Purpose:
Provide information on the host response to this important parasite and assist in the future development of control strategies
