Summary Objectives:-
Develop and employ genetic markers to investigate the extent of population structure, stock boundaries and recruitment in four species of commercially important shellfish.

Key Customer Purpose:-
Through a better understanding of stock structure enable DEFRA to consider appropriate management methods for the valuable shellfish resource.
