Microscale variation in contaminants in estuarine sediments - AE1028

Summary Objectives:-
Determine the effect that particle size, water content and geometry may change the distribution of transition metals, radionuclides and organic compounds in intertidal sediment topography, as an aid to the development of scientifically robust sampling protocols.

Key Customer Purpose:-
Assist MAFF in collaboration with other funders to have internationally acceptable environmental monitoring procedures.
