Summary Objectives:-
Develop a method for the production of all-female turbot through the identification of the sex determining mechanism.
Key Customer Purpose:-
Enhance the growth potential of cultured turbot by the development of techniques for the production of all-female broods, thereby promoting the development of an economically viable marine flatfish industry in the UK. |
