Objective
1) To determine the effect of larval diet quality
(pariculatly lipid composition) on various performance
characteristics of juvenile sole. These include:
a) tolerance to the stresses involved in handling and
transfer;
b) the acceptance of formulated feeds;
c) growth rates;
d) tolerance to low temperatures.
2) To determine the variability of reared turbot to various
performance characteristics and to relate as far as possible
to their previous rearing history. |
