`Migrations and movements of plaice and cod in relation to stock identity, quota management and technical conservation` - MF0130

R&D Summary objective:- For plaice and cod describe, quantify and model local movements on feeding grounds and more distant seasonal migrations, and derive indices of distribution for use in stock management and technical conservation models. Key customer purpose:- Through a better understanding of the movement and migration of cod and plaice develop models which will lead to improved stock management advice for Policy, including the establishment of closed areas.
