Development of data storage tags - phase II - MF0129

Description
R&D Summary objective:- Further develop DFR's electronic data storage tag, making it smaller, enlarging memory and incorporating additional sensors e.g., for direction and light. Key customer purpose:- Provide the technical capability to study in detail the movement and migration of commercial fish.
Objective
1) To halve the volume of the basic data tag and increase its memory to 4Mbit by using non-volatile memory. 2) To incorporate a miniature high-resolution compass sensor and a light sensor. 3)To identify and implement cheaper methods of tag manufacture.
