Young people`s understanding of communications about food- related risks. - FS1824

Description
The research would use a combination of interviews and
questionaire to examine the attitudes and beliefs held by
children aged 6-16 years concerning food chemicals and
food-related risks. Coverage of these issues within the
school curriculum would be reviewed. Children's reactions to
current and new communications, using audio-visual
presentation will be assessed. |
Objective
To provide a general overview of (1) the attitudes and
beliefs held by young people about food-related risks, and
any differences as a function of age; (2) the coverage of
these issues at school; (3) houw young people interpret
current and new communicative materials; (4) how their
experience of these materials is influenced by their
personal experience. |
