The development of a sustainable system for the prevention of root disease in recirculating hydroponic crops - LK0416

Objective
To determine the effectiveness of disinfection systems against a range of root pathogens in hydroponic crops and to evaluate their effects on the microbial components of hydroponic solution. To undertake quantitative evaluation of teh microflora of the root environment in a disease-free environment and following the introduction of root pathogens to determine whether fungal antagonism can suppress root disease effectively in recirculating hydroponic crops.
