Description
R&D Summary Objectives:- Develop electronic tags which record information on fish movement, external environmental conditions, and internal physiological data for use as a research tool. Key customer purpose:- Enable stock assessments and technical measures to be based on a good knowledge of fish migrations.
Objective
To develop methods of following the movement of large numbers of individual fish in the open sea over long periods,. by recording data for large numbers of intermediate locations before re-capture.
