`Migratory behaviour and physiology (REPLACED BY MF0128, 12/94)` - MF0108

R&D Summary Objectives:- Describe migratory behaviour of cod and plaice and produce a predictive model of fish migration for stock assessment and other purposes. Key customer purpose:- Enable MAFF to consider more refined fish stock management measures and make recommendations to EC regarding the application of specific technical measures.
(i)To describe the migratory behaviour of plaice and cod, in order to define the biological basis of stock distribution; (ii)To develop a migration model in support of the Common Fisheries Policy through improved methods of stock assessment and management (quota and technical measures).
