Description
Non R&D Summary Objectives:- Develop, maintain and test acoustic equipment to support fish stock assessments, particularly of pelagics, and provide an input to studies of fish migration, oceanography and bottom topography. Key customer purpose:- Provide more economic and efficient methods of pelagic stock assessment. Input to supporting studies peripheral to fish stock assessment.
Objective
1.To develop, maintain and test acoustic equipment and data processing methods for fishery purposes. 2.Provision of advice to MAFF HQ, ICES and EC (STCF).
