Summary Objectives:-
Monitor Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning and Diarrhoetic Shellfish Poisoning toxin levels in mussels at selected sites during spring and early summer and advise relevant authorities. Test and implement improved chemical test techniques.
Key customer purpose:-
Fulfil responsibilities under the Public Health (Shellfish)Regulations by monitoring toxin levels in shellfish. |
