Counter-urbanisation and Entrepreneurial Emergence in Rural Areas - RE0292

Description
The aim of this project is to obtain better knowledge about the origin of entrepreneurs and the stimuli for entrepreneurial activity and new business creation across diverse rural areas.
Objective
- Econometrics analysis of entrepreneurial rural places
- A synthesis of literature on entrepreneurial emergence
- Conduct a house-mover survey about the origins of entrepreneurially minded individuals
and their motivations for moving to rural England
- A series of interviews with rural businesses used to construct a typology of rural
entrepreneurial emergence.
