Racing greyhounds: Trainers operating at independent greyhound racetracks - AW1411

Description
This project will focus on the four independent greyhound tracks in England. The project will aim to identify the number of greyhound trainers operating solely at these independent tracks. Once these trainers have been identified, an assessment will be made of the numbers that are operating as a business versus those that are hobbyists. This evidence will be used to consider whether further regulation is required for these kennels.
Objective
1. To identify approximately how many independent greyhound trainers operate solely on independent tracks?

2. Of these, to identify how many can be considered to be operating as a business, and how many can be considered to be operating as a hobby?

3. To identify if there are improvements that could be made to the Welfare of Racing Greyhound Regulations 2010 that would help to improve the welfare conditions at these kennels (if needed)?
