Technical review of flood insurance modelling and analysis by the Government Actuary's Department - FD2660

Description
- We will review the existing models prepared by Defra relating to flood insurance and provide a report on any areas where, allowing for data limitations, improvements could be made.
- We will, if required, review your ideas regarding flood insurance and report on and/or discuss these at internal Defra meetings;
- We will, if required, attend meetings with insurance industry representatives including the ABI and also provide comments on any submissions made by - these to Defra;
- We will, if required, provide assistance to Defra as part of any project involving Defra to set up a pool insurance operation to provide flood insurance.
Objective
