Evaluation of the Victoria Business Improvement District’s environmental improvement initiative - EV0538

Description
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) wishes to commission research to evaluate an initiative, run by the Victoria Business Improvement District (BID), London, to monitor the impact of various infrastructure changes and initiatives being run by the area to improve the local environment. The primary aim of the evalution is to test the assumption that a range of environmental improvement activities within this urban area encourages pro-environmental attitudes and behaviours amongst local businesses and citizens. The research will help to draw out examples of best practice and lessons learned to develop guidance for other similar urban retail areas and for potential application to future projects.
