Description
This 3 year agreement covers the provision of advice to Defra CN to support their CBRN planning and response function. The work will be demand driven by CN and charged accordingly. The scope of individual tasks could include: • Assessment of monitoring and modelling data for an incident • Managing and presenting data from an incident • Development and modification of models for forecasting and hindcasting impacts • Writing briefs and lines to take for Defra and associated contingency UK Government operations such as SAGE (COBR), and attendance/teleconf at essential meetings • Assessment of development needs to strengthen the Defra/ Government response function • Deployment of field teams and related laboratory determinations • Reviews of methods and outcomes of assessment and response to CBRN incidents
